Aquarium readiness and cooling
Axolotls thrive strictly in cool, clean water between 16°C and 18°C. In the warm Queensland climate, an aquarium chiller is crucial for their long-term health and wellbeing. We require buyers to research their care requirements and ensure tanks are properly filtered and cycled for at least two weeks before introducing their new pet.
How to take home your baby
Browse our current selection of axolotls and arrange an in-person viewing here in Maryborough. If your aquarium is fully cycled and ready at the time of your visit, you can take your selected axolotl home immediately. If your setup is still preparing, we are happy to hold your chosen pet until your water parameters are perfect.
